Every day, thousands of artists work on images to sell as digital tokens (NFTs) in online exchanges. Justin Bieber, arguably the most famous person on the planet, is a fan of NFT.
His preferred collection – perhaps unsurprisingly – remains the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.
We reported last week that he purchased ape #3001 for a whopping 500 ETH, which was worth $1.3 million at the time.
Now, the celebrity paid 166 ETH for ape #3850, which is currently worth around $470K.
This is how ape #3850 appears:
- The ape has never been sold on OpenSea; it has only been transferred between accounts.
- The Bandana Blue hat (0.89 percent rarity) and the Grin Diamond mount are the rarest traits in the NFT (0.78 percent rarity).
- Aside from that, it has pink fur, a purple background, a puffy vest, and bored eyes.
- The NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club has a floor price of 99.3 ETH at the time of writing.
